Brian Mickels asked for clarification concerning the "$40,000 goal" the committe had set for the club house. He was positive that the current fiscal year operation could not produce $40,000 over that needed for cash flow (35-45 thousand) by year end. The committee noted that this is a goal, not a set amount. The committee does want to ensure that all golf course monies remain in that fund. Committee members discussed the need for a gang mower (rough). The committee requested that Brian report at the next meeting cost estimates for a 3—gang mower and a rear deck mower for use as a rough mower. After a discussion about a marshall's cart, the committee unanimously recommended that a scooter —type vehicle be purchased (estimated cost $800— $1,200). After a discussion, the committee recommended that regular players who want a red flag for their cart be required to furnish a letter from a medical doctor stating that they should not walk. The golf pro or his assistant will give red flags to one—time players as they feel is appropriate. It was further recommended that John Drips draft written rules to be given to the red flag users and have the user acknowledge the rules by signature. The committee discussed improving play through improved marshalling. This will be reviewed at a future meeting. After a discussion, the committee unanimously recommended to allow credit for greens fees paid prior to June 1 towards a season's pass. It was also recommended that until June 1 people who are definitely going to purchase a season's pass be allowed to play, without paying greens fees. All such situations will be noted on the sign —in sheet. The next meeting was set for 12:00 noon, May 15, 1986, at the club house. The meeting adjourned at 9:24 p.m. (02 Secretary Chairman
