WHEREAS The City Council of Richland Hills has received
expressions of concern from citizens as to the sales
within the city of sexually oriented materials ~~rin-
cipally exhibited in magazine form characterized by
suggestive sketches and photographs of nude and semi-
nude bodies, and
WHEREAS, It is the belief of the City Council that the sale of
such material is not in harmony with the moral t~tan-
dards of the citizens and detrimental to the best
image of the city;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE RICHLAND HILLS CITY CO~JNCIL:
That the City Council is opposed to the display and
sale of such material and does urge all businesses
within Richland Hills to voluntarily discontinue the
sales of this material; and
That a copy of this resolution be sent to all busi-
nesses within Richland Hills displaying this material
for sale.
