SECOND- For the purpose of paying interest on the outstanding bonds of y
the City of Jefferson.. Missouri., and for the purpose of creating a sinking fund ii
to retire the outstanding bonds of the City of Jefferson., Missourip the eijm of
.20 cents on the one hundred dollar valuation.
THIRD- For the purpose of establishing and maintaining a Free Public
Library in the City of Jefferson., Missouri, the sum or .08 cents on the one
hundred dollar valuation.
FOURTH- For the purpose of establishing and maintaiming Free Public
Parks in the City of Jefferson., Missouri., the sum of .15 cents on the one him-
dred, dollar valuation.
FIFTH- For the purpose of creating a Firemen's Retirement System for
firemen in the City of Jefferson., Missouri., the sun of .07 cents on the one
hundred dollar valuation.
Section 2. It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to cause to be
extended in the appropriate coltumas opposite each item of taxable property on
the assessment book,, as returned by t.be Assessor of the City of Jefferson.,
Missouri., and corrected by the County Board of Equalization, the amount of
taxes to be paid by each person as provided by Section 1 of this Ordinance.
Section 3- This ordinance shall take effect and be in force frcm and
after its passage and approval.
