BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. An election shall be held to elect three Councilmembers on the 2nd '
~ day of April, 1983. Such election shall be held at the City Hall,
_ 3200 Diana Drive., Richland Hills, Texas from 7:00 o'clock a.m.
until 7:00 o'clock p.m.
SECTION 2. Eligible persons wishing to become candidates must file application
with the N.ayor or City Secretary of the City of Richland Hi11s, Texas
on .or before the 2nd day of March,. 1983 until 4:30 p.m.
SECTION 3. Absentee voting shall commence in the office of the City Secretary
on the 14th day of March, 1983 at 8:00 a.m. and shall close on the
29th day of 1;arch, 1983 at 4:30 p.m.
SECTION 4. The following persons shall be the Officers who shall conduct the
election:
Russ Miller Election Judge
Fred Schroder Assistant Judge
and such other clerks as may be appointed by the Election Judge.
SECTION 5. The election shall be conducted according to the laws of the State
of Texas.
SECTION 6. The three persons receiving the `highest number of votes for City
Council shall be deemed to have been elected as City Councilmembers.
