AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE HOURLY WAGE TO BE PAID TO EMPLOYEES
OF THE CITY STREET DEPARTMENT AT ONE AND 46/100 ($1.46) DOLLARS PER
WORKING HOUR, AND AUTHORIZING THE STREET COMMISSIONER TO DETERMINE
THE NUMBER OF HOURS THAT MEMBERS OF `1.'HE STREET DEPARTMENT SHALL
WORK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Street Department employees shall be paid at
the rate of One and 46/100 ($1.46) Dollars for each hour worked.
Section 2. The Street Commissioner is authorized to
determine the number of hours that each member of the Street Depart
ment shall work.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE ROADWAY OF
MARILYN STREET IN THE BLOCK FROM THE CENTER OF THE INTERSECTION
OF MARILYN STREET AND OAKVIEW DRIVE TO THE CENTER OF THE INTERSEC-
TION OF MARILYN STREET AND MINDER DRIVE IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, BY PAVING WITH BITUMINOUS MATERIAL AND GUTTERING AND CURB'
ING :WHERE NECESSARY WITH ASPHALTIC MATERIAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Whereas , it was heretofore found and declared
by the City Council, by its resolution, passed and approved on
,Tune 22nd, 1956 necessary to pave with Bituminous material and to
gutter and curb, where necessary, with asphaltic material the road-
way of Marilyn Street in the block from the center of the intersec- I
tion of Marilyn Street and Oakview Drive to the center of the inter
section of Marilyn Street and Binder Drive and it appearing to the
City Council that said resolution has been duly published according
to the law for more than seven (7) consecutive insertions , in the
Post-Tribune, a daily newspaper, printed and published in the City
