WHEREAS, Much of the water and sewer systems of the City
are over twenty-five (25) years old and in need
of repair, and major replacement of these lines
will require large cash outlays of the City funds,
and
WHEREAS, There has been approved in the City's 1983-1984
budget the provisions to fund a water and sewer
system maintenance and replacement fund.
Now Therefore Be It Resolved By The Richland Hills City Council:
That the City Administrator be authorized to transfer funds from
the Water and Sewer Revenue Fund into a special fund to be used
for major repairs and/or replacement of the utility system of the
City of Richland Hills, Texas.
That the monthly appropriation to this special fund be sufficient
to provide $50,000. for the 1983-1984 fiscal year.
