between the aforesaid streets and the cost price per front foot for
said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as a
special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of group
fronting or abutting said Green Berry Road from the end of the
pavement to a point 477 feet east of the east line of the Hough
Park Road.
Section 4 . That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to
make out special tax bills in favor of the contractor Pope Construc -
tion Company for the within mentioned work in accordance with the
ordinances of the Catty of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kin
of work and in accordance with the Charter of said City in regard
to said work.

� LINDEN DRIVE, FROM PAMELA STREET TO LAUREL DRIVE IN THE CITY OF
i JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE SAID ROADWAY BY
1! GRADING, CURBING AND GUTTERING AND PAVING WITH ASPHALT MACADAM. '

II BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
I! Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the

1 rate and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of thi�
ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting orb'
ii abutting on the roadway of Linden Drive, from Pamela Street to Lau- ,
rel Drive in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement
of the roadway Linden Drive aforesaid, including such grading as may
� be necessary for the reception of a cement sidewalk, the sum of i
! $2247.17 as the total costs of the improvement of said street and the
number of front feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said Lin- ii
den Drive aforesaid, between the aforesaid streets amount to 627 .7
running feet; the cost price per running scoot is $3.58 plus $2.50 per
lin.ft. for curb and gutter.
Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement ofI
said roadway of Linden Drive, from Pamela Street to Laurel Drive
there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $3.58 as a special
tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said
roadway of street between the aforesaid streets, and
contained in such lot or price of ground fronting or abutting said
improved roadway of said Linden Drive, from Pamela Street to Laurel'l
