IAN ORDINANCE CHANGING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880,
�! WITH REFERENCE TO CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND, BY REZONING
I SAID LAND FROM A. DISTRICT "A-1" SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO
(� A DISTRICT "C" MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT.
li� Whereas, a petition was filed with the City Council request-
ing the rezoning of certain property located along Southwest Boule-
vard and adjacent to the south city limits , and
Whereas , the City Council referred said petition to the
Planning & Zoning Commission for its consideration and recommenda-
tion, and
Whereas , the Planning & Zoning Commission held a hearing at
which time said petition was considered and interested parties were
heard, and
Whereas , the Planning & Zoning .Commission recommended to the
(; City Council that a specifically described area within the City of
( Jefferson, Missouri, be rezoned, and
Whereas, all interested parties have been notified by the
publication of a notice in the newspaper of general circulation
, within the city more than fifteen days prior to a hearing that a
1public hearing would be had on the question of the rezoning of the
,' area recommended to be rezoned by the Planning & Zoning Commission,
'� and
Whereas, the City council has conducted such a hearing on the
; day and at the time prescribed in the notice of publication of
( hearing, and has given all interested parties an opportunity to be
heard, now therefore :
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . Hereafter the following described land shall be
, classified as a District "C" Multiple Dwelling District instead of
' a District "A-l" Single Family Residential District, and the Zoning
Map of the City, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, is now
bordered and is hereby amended with reference to the following des-
cribed land:
"A tract of land in the SW quarter of the NW quarter of
i Sec . 13, Twp 44N, Range 121q, described as: From an old
stone at the west quarter corner of Section 13, the
point of beginning of this description; thence north
along the west line of Section 13, 502,7 feet to an
iron pipe in an existing fence ; thence south 89 degrees
II and 45 minutes East, along said fence, 990 .5 feet to an
iron pipe in the west line of Southwest Boulevard; thence
south and along the west line of Southwest Boulevard,
