The Mayor of the City of Jefferson., Missouri, is hereby authorized to appoint some suitable persons as watchmen to operate traffic signals at school crosswalks and control the manual' stop signs with school crosswalks . i Section 2. Said watchmen shall work between the hours of � 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 4:0 OI p.m. each day, Monday through Friday inclusive , Section 3. The Mayor, or his designee, shall have the powe to determine the specific duties of the said watchmen and the loca- tion of the areas within which they will perform those duties. Section 4. Said watchmen shall be paid at the rate of $1.50 per hour for two hours of work each day for each day that he works . Section 5. Ellis President of the Council Mayor #6322 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE OPERATOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE FROM PERMITTING THE SAME TO BE PARKED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WOODLAWN STREET BETWEEN ITS INTERSECTIONS WITH MONROE STREET AND JACKSON STREET, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a moto vehicle to permit the same to be parked on the north side of Wood.- lawn Street between its intersections with Monroe Street and its intersection with Jackson Street. Section 2. Anyone violating any of the terns of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect fro and after its passage and approval . Whereas , a petition was filed with the City Council request ing the rezoning of property located on the southeast corner of Jackson Street and Capitol Avenue, and Whereas , the City Council referred said petition to the Planning and Zoning Commission for its consideration and recommen- dation, and glignows-
