Section 1 . That a sidewalk of cement concrete materiallil
four feet in width, 3.0 feet back from face of curb, on the north II
side of Swift' s Highway, between Pamela. and Myrtle Streets , and
abutting 222 feet 3 inches on Swift' s Highway, owned by Frank C . �
Botz be constructed and built within thirty days from the service i
of a -copy o,f this ordinance on the owner of the property hereinabovd"
described. I'

i Section 2. Within two days after the passage of this
;' ordinance, the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Mar-
I shat a certified copy of this ordinance, and said City Marshal
!, shall serve or cause to be served a copy of this ordinance on the
owner or owners above mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to
s owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his famil
over the age of 15 years , making his return on aother copy of said
ordinance, which copy shall be filed in the office of the City Cler .
ii Section 3. In the event the owner or owners above named
fail to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of
+ Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its charter
land ordinances , will construct said sidewalk and will issue a
especial tax bill against said property for the cost of the construe
Rion of said sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be a lien
, against the property above described.
Section 4 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.

j BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS :
�j Section 1. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material,
j four feet in width, 3.0 feet back from face of curb, on the north
! side of Swift' s Highway, between Pamela and Myrtle Streets, and
abutting 88.1 feet on Swift' s Highway, owned by Eugene G. & Helen
E. Schneider be constructed and built within thirty days from the
1jservice of a copy of this ordinance on the owner of the property
jhereinabove described.
