Katherine B. Corder be constructed and built within thirty days
from the service of a copy of this ordinance on the owner of the i
property hereinabove described.
Section 2 . Within two days after the passage of this
. ordinance, the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City
` Marshal a certified copy of this ordinance, and said City Marshal
shall serve or cause to be served a copy of this ordinance on the
'. owner or owners above mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to
;; said owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his
�1family over the age of 15 years, making his return on another copy
11of said ordinance, which copy shall be filed in the office of the
1; City Clerk.
jI Section 3. In the event the owner or owners above named )
1ifail to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City
,' of Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its charter
,land ordinances , will construct said sidewalk and will issue a
�Ispecial tax bill against said property for the cost of the construe
tion of said sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be a lien
against the property above described.
Section 4 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval .

CONCRETE MATERIAL, POUR FEET IN WIDTH, 2.8 FEET BACK FROM FACE OF
CURB, ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SWIFT' S HIGHWAY, BET14EEN BROADWAY AND
PAMELA STREETS , AND ABUTTING 91.3 FEET IN FRONT OF LOTS 28 & 29

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS :
�. Section 1 . That a sidewalk of cement concrete material,
11four feet in width, 2.8 feet back from face of curb, on the north
( side of Swift' s Highway Street, between Broadway and Pamela Streets
land abutting 91.3 feet in front of lots 28 & 29 City View Terrace,
'lowned by Tom C. Strong be constructed and built within thirty days
; from the service of a copy of this ordinance on the owner of the
Ilproperty hereinabove described.
