AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK OF CEMENT
CONCRETE MATERIAL, FOUR FEET IN WIDTH, 2.8 FEET BACK FROM FACE OF
CURB, ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SWIFT' S HIGHWAY BETWEEN BROADWAY AND
PAMELA STREETS, AND ABUTTING 70 FEET IN FRONT OF LOT 30 CITY VIEW
TERRACE OWNED BY HARRY E. FERGUSON AND CECILIA FERGUSON.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material,
four feet in width, 2.8 feet back from face of curb, on the north
side of Swift' s Highway, between Broadway and Pamela Streets , and
abutting 70 feet in front of lot 30 City View Terrace, owned by
Harry E. Ferguson and Cecilia Ferguson be constructed and built
within thirty days from the service of a copy of this ordinance on �
the owner of the property hereinabove described.
Section 2. Within two days after the passage of this
ordinance, the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Mar- I
shal a certified copy of this ordinance, and said City Marshal shall
serve or cause to be served a copy of this ordinance on the owner of
owners above mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to .said owner o
owners or by leaving it with some member of his family over the age
of 15 years, making his return on another copy of said ordinance,
which copy shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk.
Section 3. In the event the owner or owners above named
fail to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of
Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its charter
and ordinances, will construct said sidewalk and will issue a spec-
ial tax bill against said property for the cost of the construction
of said sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be a lien agains
the property above described.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.

BROADWAY STREETS, AND ABUTTING 12 FEET ON SWIFT'S HIGHWAY OWNED BY
LAWRENCE H. BREENEKE & MARGARE`r BRENNEKE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS : (
Section 1. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, 1
four feet in width, 6 inches back from face of curb, on the north
side of Swift' s Highway between Jefferson and Broadway Streets , and
abutting 12 feet on Swift' s Highway, owned by Lawrence H. Brenneke �
1, & Margaret Brenneke be constructed and built within thirty days
