Section 2. Within two days after the passage of this
ordinance, the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City
Marshal a certified copy of this ordinance, and said City Marshal
shall serve or cause to be served a copy of this ordinance on the ''
owner or owners above mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to
said owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his
family over the age of 15 years, making his return on another copy f
of said ordinance, which copy shall be filed in the office of the
City Clerk.
Section 3. In the event the owner or owners above named �l
!; fail to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of
, Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its charter
11and ordinances, will construct said sidewalk and will issue a
; special tax bill against said property for the cost of the construc
I1tion of said sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be a lien
+ against the property above described. i
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.

i1CONCRETE MATERIAL, FOUR FEET IN WIDTH, 3.5 FEET BACK FROM FACE OF
1' CURB, ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF SWIFT'S HIGHWAY BETWEEN JEFFERSON AND
CARTER STREETS, AND ABUTTING 299 FEET 4 INCHES ON SWIFT'S HIGHWAY
DOWNED BY TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH.

JIBE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
J! Section 1. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material,
f! four feet in width, 3.5 feet back from face of curb, on, the south
! side of Swift' s Highway, between Jefferson and Carter Streets, and I�
! abutting 299 feet 4 inches on Swift' s Highway, owned by Trinity
!; Lutheran Church be constructed and built within thirty days from l
! the sbrvice of a copy of this ordinance on the owner of the property
11hereinabove described.
