BACKGROUND: 1.On March 11, 2020, the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting. 2.On October 14, 2020, the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting 3.On July 28, 2021, the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting. ANALYSIS: March 11, 2020 The following is a summary of actions taken at the March 11, 2020 meeting: 1.ROLL CALL Present: Commissioner – Catalan, Palmieri, Xu, Stoll, Nimri Absent: Commissioner – None Excused: Commissioner – None AGENDA ITEM 7.B. City Council September 7, 2021 Page 2 of 3 2. CONSENT CALENDAR The Commission approved the minutes of the February 12, 2020 meeting. 3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS The Commission held nine hearings in person. Nine citations were upheld. The Commission held one hearing by written declaration. One citation was upheld. OCTOBER 14, 2020 The following is a summary of actions taken at the October 14, 2020 meeting: 1. ROLL CALL Present: Commissioner – Catalan, Palmieri, Stoll, Xu, Nimri Absent: Commissioner – None Excused: Commissioner – None 2. CEREMONIAL MATTERS The Commission proceeded with the annual reorganization of the Commission by appointing Commissioner Stoll as Chairman and Commissioner Catalan as Vice- Chairman for a one-year term. July 28, 2021 The following is a summary of actions taken at the July 28, 2021 meeting: 1. ROLL CALL Present: Commissioner – Palmieri, Xu, Catalan Absent: Commissioner – None Excused: Commissioner – Nimri, Stoll 2. CEREMONIAL MATTERS The Commission proceeded with the annual reorganization of the Commission by appointing Commissioner Stoll as Chairman and Commissioner Catalan as Vice- Chairman for a one-year term.
