The approval of the tentative map is valid for two years with the original expiration date set as July 23, 2021. As mentioned in the background, the applicant applied for, and received, an 18-month time extension. The new expiration date for the tentative map is January 23, 2023. The City’s Building and Engineering Division has reviewed and certified the final map and the applicant has paid the required deposit for the right-of-way improvements. The applicant also received approval from the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Based on the conclusion that the conditions of approval have been fulfilled and that the final map is in substantial compliance with the tentative map, staff requests that the City Council approve the final map.
