BE IT ORDAIM BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISS OURI , AS FOLLOWS t SECTION 1. WHEREAS it was hereuntofore found and declared by the City Council, by its resolution, passed and approved on the 7th day of January, 1967, necessary to curb and pave the Penetration bituminous macadam, or portland cement concrete, the roadway of Marilyn Street from the west curb line of Oakvi•w Drive to the east curb line of Binder Drive. And it appearing to the City Council that said resolution has been duly published i. according to the law for seven (7) consecutive insertions in the if Jefferson City Pest-Tribune, a daily newspaper, printed and li puublished in the City of Jefferson, Missouris And after hearing !; those who desire to be heard on the matter concerning the paving of said street and after finding that said street between Oakvi•w{: Drive and Binder Drive is less than 1200 feet in length and is ;t between two paved streets, the City Council of the City of Jeff. arson, Missouri, still finds the Idprovoment necessary to be done i� SECTION 29 That the said roadway of Marilyn Street from thejl nest curb line of Oakview Drive to the east curb line of Binder f; Drive be graded, curbed with cement material or asphaltic material and:.ppved'41th jrenetration bituminous macadam# or portland cement ! concrete, in accordance with the plans and specifications sub- +l ll mitted by the City Engineer and filed in the office of the City Clark, and that the total cost of the work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a special assessment against the real estat ' ,j abutting and fronting on said contemplated improvement and specia tax bills shallbe issued therefor, as provided in Section 772 eft the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1941, and the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri, 1949. That the cost of the curb shall be assessed only against the property In front of which the same is constructed. SECTION 3.
