HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD06432 I+ ORDINANCE NO. 6432 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE OPERATOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE FROM PERMITTING THE SAME TO BE PARKED FOR A PERIOD OF TIME IN EXCESS OF ONE HALF HOUR OR THIRTY MINUTES ALONG THE SOUTH CURB OF CAPITOL AVENUE IN AN AREA BETWEEN TWO POINTS LOCATED ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY (170) FEET EAST OF THE EAST CURB OF MONROE STREET, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINEE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: i SECTION i.. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to permit the own to bb parked for a period of time in excess of one half hour or thirty minutes along the south curb of Capitol Avenue between two points located one hundred and thirty five (135) feet and one hundred and seventy (170) feet east of the east curb of Monroe Street, SECTION 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and approval. Ells y Clark ORDINANCE NO.: 6433 AN ORDINANCE REPEALONG ORDINANCE NUMBER 6415 OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, WHICH DESIGNATED CERTAIN TWELVE MINUTE AND THIRTY MINUTE PARKING METER SPACES, AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE PERTAINING' TO THE SAME: SUBJECT: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS; SECTION i. Ordinance Number 6415 of the City of Jefferson Missouri, which designated certain 12 minute and 30 minute parking meter spaces be and the same is hereby repealed. SECTION 20 Twelve minute meters - thirtz minute motors& The following parking meter spaces Shall A Used Only rOr twelve minute parking and the parking motors opposite said spaces shall be, twelve (12) minute parking meters; (a) The second and third meters on the north side of High Street west of the west curb of Jefferson Street. (b) The first, second, third and fourth meters on the east side of Adams Street, north of the alley lying between High Street and Capitol Avenue. (o) The first second meters on the south side of High Street, west of the west curb of Madison Street. (d) The first and second meters on the west side of Madison Street, south of the south curb of High Street. (e) The first and second meters on the north side of High Street, west of the west curb of Madison Street. (f) The first and second meters on the west side of Madison Street, north of the north curb of High Street. } (g) Provided that subsections (e) and (f) above are subject to the provisions of ordinance number 6701•
