ORDINANCE NO. 6447
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDII'G FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A STDDVALK OF CEMENT ;
CONCRETE MATERIAL, FOUR FEET ITT WIDTH, THREE FEET BACK FROM FACE OF
CURB, ON THE WEST SIDE OF JACK:ON STREET, BETWEEN WOODLAWN AND
� UNION STREETS, AND ABUTTING 160 FEET ON JACKSON STREET LOT 101 i
WOODCREST ADDITION OWNED BY DOT & HILDA SAPPINGTON.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS=

Section 1. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, four i
feet in width, three feet back from face of curb, on the west side
of Jackson Street, between Woodlawn and Union Streets, and abutting
160 feet on Jackson Street lot 101, Woodcrest Addition, owned by
Dot & Hilda Sappington be constructed and built within thirty days ,
from the service of a copy of this ordinance on the owner of the
property hereinabove described.
Section 2. Within two days after the passage of this ordinance
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a
certified copy* of this ordinance, and said City Marshal shall serve ,
or cause to be served a copy of this ordinance on the owner or
owners above mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to said owner o �
owners or by leaving it with some member of his family over the age {
of 15 years, making his return on another copy of said ordinance, l
which copy shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk.

Section 3. In the event the owner or owners above named .fail
to construct said sidewalk as above directed, the the City of
Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its charter
and ordinances, will construct said sidewalk and will issue a
special tax bill against said property for the cost of the
construction of said sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be
a lien against the property above described.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval. li

ORDINANCE NO. 6460
An ordinance of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, pertaining to the use of
all right of way included within all streets, alleys and public places, above
or below the surface, within this city by persons, firms and corporations for th
purpose of locating, constructing, and maintaining wires, cables, poles, conduit
and other apparatus and appliances for the purpose of operating a system of
exhibition of motion pictures in the home by electronic means; providing for (
the regulation thereof and permit fees therefore. �I
Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as follows!!:
SECTION I. Any person, firm gr corporation desiring to construct, main- j
tain and operate either above or below the surface of any street, alley or public
place within city right of way in this city any type of electronic cable, wiring,I
or conduits, along with all necessary poles, manholes and other apparatus and
appurtances, or shall desire to lease, rent or otherwise obtain the use of such
facilities constructed and maintained under authority from the city, for
iexhibiting motion pictures in the home by electronic means by cable and wires
as opposed to transmission through the airways, is hereby authorized to do so
upon securing a permit from the City Building Commissioner, and complying with
