AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY COLLECTOR OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , TO REFUSE TO ISSUE A MOTOR VEHICLE CITY LICENSE STICKER
TO ANY RESIDENT OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI, FOR ANY MOTOR
VEHICLE OWNED AND OPERATED BY SAID RESIDENT WITHIN THIS CITY UNLESS THE OWNER
OF SAID MOTOR VEHICLE HAS PAID ALL CITY PERSONAL PROPERTY TAMES FOR THE
PRECEDING YEARS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section I. The City Collector of the City of Jefferson City, Missouri, is
hereby authorized and directed to refuse to issue a motor vehicle license
sticker to any resident of the City of Jefferson City, Missouri, for any motor
vehicle owned and operated by said resident within this city unless the owner
of said motor vehicle has paid all city personal property taxes for preceding
years.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE N0. 6467
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 8 OF ORDINANCE 5933, KNOWN AS SECTION 42 OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1956, PERTAINING TO THE TIME
WHEN PARKING METERS SHALL BE OPERATIVE, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION TO BE
KNOWN AS SECTION 118" PERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 8 of Ordinance•Number 5933, known as Section 42 of
the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, 1956, pertaining to the time
when parking meters shall be operative, be :and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby enacted a new ordinance which pertains to
the time when parking meters shall be in effect, and said ordinance shall be
known as Section 42 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, 1956,
and shall read as follows:
Section 42. Parking meters to be operated when. Parking meters
shall be operated in the parking meter zones every day between
the hours of nine o'clock a.m. and six o'clock p.m. , excepting
Sundays and holidays, and on Fridays from nine o'clock a.m. until
nine o'clock p.m. ; provided that the term "holiday" within the
meaning of this ordinance shall include the following days only;
The lst day of January, the 30th day of May, the 4th day of July,
the first Monday in September, the 25th day of December, and the
day designated and set aside by the President of the United
States as a day for Thanksgiving.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its passage and approval
and shall be enforced from and after the time the Street Commissioner shall
place new notices on parking meters advising the citizenry of this city of the
operative time of all parking meters .
