+ ORDINANCE NO. 6469
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING, AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE
NUMBER 5880, WITH REFERENCE TO CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED
LAND BY REZONING SAID LAND FROM A "B" TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
TO A DISTRICT "D" MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT.
Whereas the City Council received a petition requesting that
certain specifically described land be rezoned from a District "B"
Two Family Dwelling District to a District "Du Multiple Family
Dwelling District, and
Whereas, the City Council referred said petition to the City
Planning and Zoning Commission pursuant to the terms of ordinance
number 5880 for study and consideration, and
Whereas, the Planning and Zoning Commission, after a public
hearing, has considered the petition referred to it by the city
council and has recommended that the petition be approved, and
Whereas, notice for three days was published in a newspaper of
general circulation within Jefferson City,, more than fifteen days
prior to May 6th, 1957, advising residents of Jefferson City that
the City Council would conduct a public hearing at 8:00 p.m. on
Monday, May 6th3, 1957, at the Council Chamber in the City Hall, at
which all interested parties could be heard on the question of
whether or not said specifically described land should be rezoned,
and
erects the City Council has conducted such a hearing and given
all interested parties an opportunity to be heard, therefore:
B IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY,
ISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hereafter the following described land within
the City of Jefferson City, Missouri, shall be classified as a
District "DY Multiple Dwelling District instead of a District "B"
Two Family Dwelling District, and the zoning map of the City of
Jefferson City, Missouri, as incorporated into ordinance number
5880, is hereby ordered amended, changed and modified to reflect
said rezoning of the following specifically described land:
"The westerly 200 feet of Lot No. 1 and all of Lots
2, 30 4, 5, and 6 of a Subdivision of Outlot No. 76
of the City of Jefferson City,. Missouri."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.

ER 5880 WITH REFERENCE TO CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND,
Y EXTENDING THE 'IF" DISTRICT HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL ZONE TO INCLUDE
GREATER AREA OF LAND AS SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED WITHIN SAID
RDINANCE.
