ORDINANCE NUMBER 6493
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 6414 PERTAINING TO THE
ESTABLISHMENT AND LOCATION OF PARKING METER ZONES, AND ENACTING A
NEW ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance Number 6414 of the City of Jefferson City,
Missouri, pertaining to the establishment and location of parking
meter zones, be and the same is hereby repealed.
ECTION 2. Parrkina Meter Zones. The following names streets, or
portions of `scree w thin7M—e boundaries designated, lying within
he corporate limits of Jefferson City, shall constitute parking
meter zones:
(a) Adams Street - on the east side of Adams Street beginning
at the south curb of Capitol Avenue and extending south
along Adams Street to the alley which lies between and
parallel to Capitol Avenue and High Street.
(b) Capitol Avenue - on both sides from Madison Street to
Monroe Street.
(c) High Street - on the north side between Washington and
Adams Street.
On the south side between a point 200 feet east of Washing-
ton Street to Adams Street.
(d) Jefferson Street - both sides from McCarty Street to the
alley lying between High Street and Capitol Avenue.
On the east side between two points located 62 and 151 feet
south of the south curb of Capitol Avenue.
(e) Madison Street - both sides between McCarty Street and
Capitol Avenue.
(f) McCarty Street - south side between Jefferson Street and
Madison Street.
(g) Monroe Street - both sides between McCarty Street and
Capitol Avenue.
ECTION 3. This ordinances shall be in force and effect from and
fter its passage and approval.
