E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, SSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed the following ate on all real estate and personal property within the limits of he City of Jefferson, Missouri, not exempt from taxation by the onstitution or the laws of the State of Missouri, as shown by the ssessment book of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the year 957, and on all Merchants and Manuracturers statements, made as provided by law. FIRST - For the purpose of paying all current expenses of the ity of Jefferson, Missouri, for the fiscal year, the sum of .75 cents on the one hundred dollar valuation. Second - For the purpose of paying interest on the out- tanding bonds of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and for the urpose of creating a sinking fund to retire the outstanding bonds f the City of Jefferson., Missouri, the sum of .15� cents n the one hundred dollar valuation. THIRD - For the purpose of establishing and maintaining a Free Public Library in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the sum of .10C cents on the one hundred dollar valuation.
