AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 9 OF ARTICLE 4 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER
27379 ALSO BEING SECTION 1231 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, 19561 PERTAINING TO THE PLACEMENT OF MATERIALS
UPON STREET, ALLEY, SIDEWALK, PARKWAY, DRIVEWAY OR OTHER PUBLIC
PLACE, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY, AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE
PERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT, TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION 1231 OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI, 1956,
D PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY,
SSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 9 of Article 4 of Ordinance number 2737,
also being Section 1231 of the R. 0. of the City of Jefferson, 1956
pertaining to the placement of materials upon any street, alley,
sidewalk, parkway or driveway or other public place within the City,
and providing a penalty, be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. Section 1231. Placing rubbish on streets, side-
walks, alleys, arkin or ar ay etc. Any person or persons,
firm or corporation, or the agent or employee of any such person
or persons, firm or corporation, who, within this city, shall
sweep, throw, place or deposit, or who shall suffer to be swept,
