AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE MONEY FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST, 1957
E IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Cit
easury not otherwise appropriated, the following:
REVENUE FUND
or the purpose� of paying the salaries and expenses of elective
and appointive officers, the sum of------------------$18,430.00
or the purpose of paying City Engineer, for use of car,

or the purpose of paying City Marshal, for use of car,
the sum of-------------------------------------------

Advance Collectors commissions-----------------------$ 500.00
Advance Assessors commissions------------------------$ 200.00
VEHICLE FUND
For the purpose of paying weekly wages of laborers, freight and
incidentals under the Street Commissioner, the sum of $5,000.00
TRAFFIC AND VEHICLE FUND
or the purpose of paying the salary of Street Commissioner and
Traffic Officers, the sumeof-------------------------$2,885.00
For the purpose of paying weekly wages of laborers, freight and
incidentals under the Street Commissioner,
the sum of-------------------------------------------$5,000.00
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from an

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF THAT PORTION OF TH$ STREET KNOWN
S SWIFT'S HIGHWAY, WHICH LIES BETWEEN THE WEST LINE OF LOTS 16 AND
20 OF SWIFT AND THOMPSON'S SUBDIVISION AND THEN EXTENDS WEST TO THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI, WHICH IS THE WEST LINE
F SECTION 139 TOWNSHIP 44 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST, TO THE NAME OF
STADIUM DRIVE.
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Jefferson City, Missouri, a
meeting of the Ciyt Council, held on the 23rd day of July, 1957,
id receive a petition from all of the property owners who owned
property abutting that portion of the street known as Swift' s
L y which lies west of the intersection of Southwest Boulevard
adium Drive and Swift's Highway in which petition the
oners requested that the aforementioned portion of Swift' s
y be changed to and legally known as the 700 Block of Stadium
