BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Whereas, it was heretofore found and declared by the City Council, by its resolution, passed and approved on September 9th 1957 necessary to pave with portland cement concrete the roadway of Franklin Street in the block from the center of the intersection of Marshall Street and Franklin Street to the center of the intersection of Marshall Street and a point 300 feet north of the north line of Franklin Street and it appearing to the City Council that said resolution has been duly published according to the law for more than seven (7) consecutive insertions, in the Post-Tribune a daily newspaper, printed and published in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and a majority of the resident owners of property along said section of Marshall Street liable for the costs of said improvement, and who own a majority of the front feet on said Marshall Street intended to be improved, have not filed with the City Clerk a protest against said contemplated improvement SECTION 2. That the said road of Marshall Street, from north line of Franklin Street north 300 feet in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted by the City Engineer and filed in the office of the City Clerk, and that the total cost of the work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a special assessment against the real estate abutting and fronting on said contemplated improvement, and special tax bills shall be issued therefor, as provided in the City Charter, and in Sections 826, 827, 828, and 82 , of Chapter 10, of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956, and of the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri , 1949, and amendments thereto SECTION 3. The , City Engineer is hereby instructed to advertise for bids for this improvement. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval. Ellis /s/ President of the Council Mayor ORDINANCE NUMBER 6524 An Ordinance levying and assessing a special tax against each lot or piece of ground lying between and situate within the bounds of Sewer District No. 50 "F" in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, in the name of the owner or owners thereof for construct- ing and completing sewers therein. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MIS80URI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: It appearing from the written report of the City Engineer, the officer in charge of the work of constructio and completing sewers, in Sewer District No. 50 "F" , in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, heretofore submitted by said officer to the City Council and approved and filed by it on this 30th day of September, 1957, at a recess meeting of the City Council held on , this date, that the total cost of construction and completing of 1` said officer did apportion said costs against the several lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 50 "F" , exclusive of streets in proportion to the area of the whole of said District ' No. 50 "F" exclusive of the public highways therein amounts to 297, 797 .00 square feet. And it further appearing from the said { report that on proper apportionment of said costs such lots pr ( pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 50 "F" , so situated, each square foot of ground contained in said lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 50 "F" is chargeable with the sum of $0 .015 per square foot Now, therefore, for the purpose of paying for the work of construction and completion of sewers in said Sewer District No. 50 "F" together with all necessary laterals, inlets, catch basins, manholes, and other necessary appurtenances thereto appertaining, there is hereby levied and assessed against the several and herein- after described 16ts or pieces of ground within the bounds of said Sewer District No. 50 "F" , situated in the name of the respective name of the owner or owners of said lots or pieces of ground, a special tax at the rate of $0 .015 per square foot for each and every square foot of ground so situated as aforesaid. SECTION 2. Each of the lots or pieces of ground so mentioned and referred to in Section 1 of this Ordinance, against which a special tax bill is specified in Section 1 of this ordinance is levied and assessed and the same is hereby levied and assessed and the description of said lots or pieces of ground and the name of the owner or owners thereof in which the tax is levied and assessed and the cost per square foot and the amount assessed each lot or piece of ground in said Sewer District No. 50 "F" situated in the name of the owner or owners thereof, the number of square feet owned by each property holder in the lots or pieces of ground owned by each owner in said Sewer District No. 50 "F" is as follows Margaret M. Dulle and Mary A. Kohlman, owners of part of the Southeast quarter of Section 35 Twp. 45 Range 12, fronting 220 .0 feet on the Boonville Road and running back easterly 135.0 feet. The south line lying 691 feet north of the north line of Sunset Place Addition and being perpendicular to the Boonville Road Assessment 32,873.0 sq.ft. @ $0 .015 Cost $493.10 Harold K. And Elaine Wood, owners of a part of the Southeast quarter of Section 35 Twp. 45 Range 12, fronting 85.0 feet on the Boonville Road and running back easterly 135.0 feet. The north line lying 976.0 feet north of the north line of Sunset Place Addition and is perpendicular to the Boonville Road. Assessment 8,910.0 sq.ft. @ $0 .015 Cost $133.65 Freeman A. & Irene Enloe, owners of a part of the Southeast quarter of Section 35 Twp.45 Range 12, fronting 85.0 feet on the Boonville Road and running back easterly perpendicular to the Boonville Road, 135.0 feet. The south line lying 976.0 feet north of the north line of Sunset Place Addition. Assessment 11,475.0 sq.ft. @ $0.015 Cost $172. 12 Alvena Engelbrecht, owner of a part of the Southeast quarter of Section 35 Twp. 45 Range 12, fronting, 375.0 feet on the Boonville Road, and running back perpendicular to the Boonville Road, 135.0 feet. The south line lying 1061.0 feet north of the north line of Sunset Place Addition. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to proceed t once to make out special tax bills under the seal of the City f Jefferson, Missouri, of the aforesaid amounts against said lots r pieces of land in the aforesaid Sewer District No. 50 "F" situated , rationed and described in the heretofore mentioned sections of this rdinance in the name of the owner or owners thereof, which said pecial and certified tax bills shall be signed by the Mayor and ttested and recorded by the City Clerk and delivered to Roy A. cheperle Construction Company, The Contractor of the work of onstruction of the aforesaid sewers as provided and required by the harter of the City of Jefferson and the Ordinances authorizing nd ordering the construction of sewers in said Sewer District o. 50 "F" , heretofore passed and approved by the Council.
