AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MARSHAL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, TO PLACE "NO PARKING SIGNS" IN THE CONTROL AND REGULATION
OF MOTOR VEHICLES DURING PERIODS WHERE TEMPORARY EMERGENCY TRAFFIC
CONDITIONS EXIST, AND DECLARING IT A MISDEMEANOR FOR THE OPERATOR 0
ANY MOTOR VEHICLE TO PARK A MOTOR VEHICLE IN VIOLATION OF PROPERLY
PLACED "NO PARKING SIGNS" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY .OF JEFFERSON, MISSOU I,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Marshal of the City of Jefferson City, Missouri ,
is hereby authorized to place "No Parking Signs" in the control and
regulation of motor vehicles along the curbs of the streets within
the City of Jefferson City, Missouri, in the proper control and
regulation of motor vehicles and motor vehicular traffic when
temporary emergency motor vehicular traffic conditions exist.
SECTION 2. When the City Marshal has placed or installed temporary
"No Parking Signs" along the curbs of the streets of Jefferson City
for the purposes mentioned in the preceding section, it shall be
unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to permit a motor
vehicle to be parked in violation of said "No Parking Signs" -
hereinabove mentioned.
SECTION 3. Anyone violating any of the provisions of the previous
section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
