Ellis /3L___ President of the Council Mayor ORDINANCE NO. 6537 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING, AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINA+NC , NUMBER 5880 WITH REFERENCE TO CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND BY REZONING SAID LAND FROM A DISTRICT "B" TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO A DISTRICT "E" LOCAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. Whereas the City Council received a written petition requesting tha the following specifically described tract of land be rezoned from a District "B" Two Family Dwelling District to a District "E" Local Commercial District, and Whereas the City Council referred said petition to the Planning and Zoning Commission as provided by law for its study, consideration and recommendation, and Whereas the Planning and Zoning Commission after a public hearing, study and consideration, did recommend to the City Council that the petition for rezoning be approved, and Whereas all interested parties have been notified that the City Council would hold a public hearing at 8:00 p.m. on the evening of November 4th, 1957, at the Council Chamber within the City Hall at which they might be heard in support of or in opposition to the proposed rezoning and any possible amendment, modification or change in the zoning map of the City of Jefferson as amended, said notification of hearing having been published in the Jefferson City Post Tribune a newspaper of general circulation within the city three consecutive days more than fifteen days previous to sai meeting, and
