• Whereas, the xichland Hills City Council is opposed to the
promotion of drug paraphernalia within our City, and
Whereas, there are laws within the State of Texas which
prohibit the promotion, sale, delivery and manufacture of
drug paraphernalia, and
[~~ereas, enforcement of such laws is a responsibility of
the Richland Hills Police Department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS THAT:
1. The Police Department of Richland Hills has the complete
support and urging of the City Council to enforce to the max-
imum extent of the law any violations related to drug use or
promotion.
2. That the City Council requests all residents of Richland
Hills to assist the enforcement officials by whatever means
available to control the illegal use of controlled substances
within the City.
