ORDINANCE NO. 6541
An ordinance levying and assessing a special tax bill against the �
lots or tracks of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of
Church Street, from U.S. Highway No. 50 to alley on south side
Block 3 and 4 St. Louis Heights Subdivision in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of the said roadway by
grading, curbing and guttering and paving with portland cement
concrete
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS: !
Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and `
cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this
ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or
abutting on the roadway of Church Street, from U.S. Highway No. 50
to alley on south side Block 3 and 4 St. Louis Heights Subdivision
in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of the
roadway Church Street aforesaid, including such grading as may be
necessary for the reception of a cement sidewalk, the sum of
$4716.34 as the total costs of the improvement of said street and
the number of front feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said
Church Street aforesaid, between the aforesaid streets amount to
580 .83, running feet; the cost price per running foot is $8 . 12.
Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said
roadway of Church Street, from U.S. Highway No. 50 to alley on
south side Block 3 and 4 St. Louis Heights, there is hereby levied
and assessed the sum of $8 . 12 as a special tax against each front
foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway of Church Street
between the aforesaid streets, and contained in such lot or piece
of ground fronting or abutting said improved roadway of said
Church Street, from U.S. Highway No. 50 to alley on south side,
Block 3 and 4 St. Louis Heights.
