Section 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the
description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abuttin on
each side of Church Street from U.S. Highway No. 50 to alley on
south side of Block 3 and 4 St. Louis Heights Subdivision and the
number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained
in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said block or
street between the aforesaid streets and cost price per front foot
for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as
a special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of
ground fronting or abutting said Church street or the roadway from
the center of the intersection of Church Street and U.S. Highway
No. 50 to alley on south side of Block 3 and 4 St. Louis Heights
Subdivision.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the contractor Roy A. Scheperle
Construction Co. for the within mentioned work in accordance with
the ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said
kind of work and in aecordance with the Charter of said City in
regard to said work.
Section 5. ' This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6542
An ordinance levying and assessing a special tax bill against the
lots or tracks of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of
Marshall Street, from north line of Franklin Street north 300 feet,
in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of the said
roadway by grading, curbing and guttering and paving with portland
cement concrete.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cos
per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this ordinance, against
the aggregate lots or tracts of land frontibg or abutting on the
roadway of Marshall Street, from north line of Franklin Street north
300 feet in the City of Jefferson, Missouri,for the improvement of the
roadway Marshall Street aforesaid, including such grading as may be
necessary for the reception of a cement sidewalk, the sum of $3858 . 'O
as the total costs of the improvement of said street and the number
of front feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said Marshall I�
Street aforesaid, between the aforesaid streets amount to 600 .U,�~
running feet ; the cost price per running foot is $6.43.
Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said
roadway of Marshall Street, from the north line of Franklin Street
north 300 feet there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of
$6.43 as a special tax against each fron foot of ground fronting
or abutting said roadway of Marshall Street between the aforesaid
street, and contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting
or abutting said improved roadway of said Marshall Street, from the
north line of Franklin Street north 300 feet.
TRUMAN & HAZEL MAE WALKER, owners of a part of Outlot 22, fronting i
55.0 feet on Marshall Street and running back westerly 100 .0 feet.
The south line co-inciding with the south line of said Outlot.
