SPECIAL CHARGE CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, Block 5502, Lot 10 was charged a maintenance fee for the 2018 tax year in
the amount of $545.00, and
WHEREAS, the house was transferred to a new owner in January, 2019, and the new
owner has paid the fee and has disputed the charge, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector has determined that this fee cannot be substantiated by
proper support documentation and is recommending cancellation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Borough of Carteret,
County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancel special charges in the
amount of $545.00 for thq 2018 tax year and refund the taxpayer the full amount recently
paid in the amount of $663.57.

and certified as a true copy of the
