AN ORDINANCE CHANGING, AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE
NUMBER 5880 WITH REFERENCE TO CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBEI) LAND �I
BY REZONING SAID LAND FROM A DISTRICT "C" MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRIC
TO A DISTRICT "G" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
Whereas the City Council did receive a petition asking that the
following described tract of land, or a part thereof, be rezoned
from a District "C" Multiple Dwelling District to a District "G"
Commercial District, and
Whereas the City Council referred said petition to the Planning and
Zonin4g Commission for its consideration, study and recommendation
as is provided by law, and
Whereas, the Planning and Zoning Commission after a public hearing, )
study and consideration, did recommend to the City Council that
the petition for rezoning be approved, said land to be rezoned �I
being specifically described in the letter of recommendation, and
Whereas, all interested parties were notified that a public hearing
would be held by the City Council at the Council Chamber in the
City Hall Building at 8:00 p.m. on the evening of December 2nd,
1957, where they .might voice their support of or opposition to said
proposed rezoning, said notice having been given by publication of
a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson
more than fifteen days prior to the date of hearing, and
Whereas, the City Council has conducttal such a hearing, and given
all interested parties an opportunity to be heard, now therefore: ff
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,

MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map, as incorporated into the terms of
Ordinance Number 5880 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby
amended, modified and changed to reflect the rezoning of the
following described land from a District "C" Multiple Dwelling
District to a District "G" Commercial District:
"Inlot No. 980 and Lots 1, 2, 3, 12, 132 14, 15, 16, and
17 of a Subdivision of Inlots 977, 9783, 979, 9819 9823,
983 and 984 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, per plat
of record in Plat Book 1 at Page 48, Cole County Recorder'
Office.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
