SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In May 2019, the City of McCall received an Idaho Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in the
amount of $500,000 from Idaho Commerce. This funding is allocated to the State of Idaho from the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development. These funds are currently being used to purchase and
install streetlights as part of the downtown core revitalization project.
As a condition of grant award, the City is required to hold a public hearing to provide an update on the status
of the project once 75% or more of grant funds have been expended. To date, streetlighting has been

installed along 2 Street, Lenora Street and Park Street as part of Phases 1 and 2 of the City’s downtown
project and 93% of the CDBG funds have been expended.
