AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING A REPLA.T OF LOTS NUMBERS 16 I
THROUGH 25 AND THE RELOCATION OF A PORTION OF MESA AVENUE AS
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, BEING A REPLAT OF A PORTION OF THE PLAT OF
SOUTHWOOD HILLS ADDITION AS RECORDED IN BOOK 4 AT PAGE 70 , COLE
COUNTY RECORDER' S OFFICE, ALL LOTS AND LAND' WITHIN SAID REPLAT
BEING OWNED BY THE HOME CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. , A CORPORATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITE OF JEFFERSON, MISSOU I,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Home Construction Company, Inc. , a Missouri
corporation being the owner of the real estate hereinafter describe
and situated in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri,
having submitted to the City Council for its approval a plat of
said real estate, being a tract of land that consists of Lots 16
through 25 of the Southwood Hills Addition, as the said Southwood
Hills Addition appears per plat of record in Plat Book 4 at Page
70, Cole County Recorder's Office, as shown on the attached plat
and more particularly described as follows:
"Beginning at the northeasterly corner of Southwood
Hills Addition as shown in Plat Book 4 at Page 70,
Cole County Recorder' s Office, where the same intersects
the westerly line of Jackson Street; thence
South 85 degrees and 11 minutes west, 448 . 1 feet; thence
North 4 degrees and 22 minutes West, 18 .7 feet- ; thence
South 84 degrees and 38 minutes West, 77:8 feet; thence
South parallel 'to Tanner Bridge Road, 244.0 feet; thence
South 1 degree and 53 minutes East, 114.6 feet; thence
South 2 degrees and 44 minutes West, 101.8 feet; thence
South 66 degrees and 36 minutes East. 105 .0 feet to the
westerly line of Jackson Street ; thence North 34 degrees i
and 36 minutes East along and with the westerly line of
Jackson Street, 540 .23 feet, to the point of beginning."
as shown on the attached plat, known and referred to as the
Relocation of a Portion of Mesa Avenue and a Resubdivision of
Lots 16 through 24 and a part of Lot 25 of Southwood Hills Addition
and made a part of this ordinance; all of which land lies within
the corporate limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri .
And it appearing that said plat has been duly and properly signed
by the owner of the said subdivision, known to and referred to as
a Resubdivision of Lots 16 through 24 and a part of Lot 25 of
Southwood Hills Addition, that all taxes have been paid, and that
in all respects the requirements of Chapter 445, R.B. Missouri,
1949, have been fully complied with, as well as all amendments
thereto, by the aforementioned owner of the said subdivision, now
therefore:
The Plat of Home Construction Company, Inc. , a Missouri corporation !
known as the Resubdivision of Lots 16 through 24 and a part of
Lot 25 of Southwood Hills Addition, as shown per plat of record
in plat book. 4 at page 70, Cole County Recorder' s Office, lying
