N ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE MONEY FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH, 1958
E IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS: 1�
SECTION I. There is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Cit
reasury not otherwise appropriated, the following:
REVENUE FUND
For the purpose of paying the salaries and expenses
of elective and Appointive officers, the sum of----$18,715 .00
For the purpose of paying City Engineer, for use of
car,. the sum of------------------------------------$-------

or the purpose of paying City Marshal, for use of
car, the sum of-------------------------------------$---------
Advance Collectors commissions---------------------------$ 500 .00
Advance Assessors commissions----------------------------$ 200.00
VEHICLE FUND
For the purpose of paying weekly wages of laborers,
freight and incidentals under the Street
Commissioner, the sum of----------------------------$ 5,000.00
TRAFFIC AND VEHICLE FUND
For the purpose of paying the salary and expenses
of Street Commissioner and Traffic Officers,
the sum of------------ -- 3,365.00
For the purpose of paying weekly wages of laborers, `
freight and incidentals under the Street
Commissioner, the sum of---------------------------$ 5,000.00 '
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6582 i
AN ORDINANCE, of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, vacating and
discontinuing as a part of the public thoroughfare, all that part of
the alley lying between lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Barton' s
Subdivision of lots 27, 28, 29 , 30 and 31 of Owens Subdivision of
Outlots 55. and 56, as plated and recorded in Plat Book 1 Page 60,
Cole County Recorder' s Office. And authorizing and directing the Mayor f
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to execute all necessary
instruments to the owners of the adjacent lots to and for said alley
so vacated, as the parties entitled thereto, as shown by the record
title to said adjacent and abutting property and declaring a reverte�
to the respective owners of said real estate.
WHEREAS: It has been shown to the City Council of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, that the owners on the alley lying between lots(
2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Barton' s Subdivision of lots 27, 28, 29 , 30 and
31 of Owens Subdivision of Outlots 55 and 56, as plated and records
in Plat Book 1 Page 60, Cole County Recorder' s Office, have used,
improved and occupied and are now using and occupying said abutting j
land so that portion of said alley has ceased to be of any use or E
