E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
IS FOLLOWS:
,SECTION 1. It is hereby declared that the City Council of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, deems it necessary and expedient to
vacate and discontinue that part of the alley lying between lots
3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of Barton' s Subdivision of lots 27, 28, 29, 30
and 31 of Owens Subdivision of Outlots 55 and 56, as plated and
recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 60, Cole County Recorder' s Office.
11 the owners of the property adjacent lots abutting on and adjacert
to said alley having petitioned the said City Council to vacate
and discontinue said alley as a part of the public thoroughfare of
said City, and said alley is forever vacated and discontinued as a
ublic thoroughfare and the power and right of reversion of said
alley to the adjacent and abutting owners as is provided by the
Statues of the State of Missouri, is hereby fully confirmed and
approved, and the Mayor of this City is hereby authorized and
directed to execute and deliver all proper and sufficient writing,
or writings, or instruments for, on behalf of, or in the name of
the City to fully and completely establish and guarantee to the
adjacent and abutting property owners their legal rights in
connection with the above vacation.
SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances contrary to in
conflict with or inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance
re hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.
