ORDINANCE NO. 6593
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1102 OF ARTICLE XI OF ORDINANCE NUMBER
5880 OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY ADDING THERETO AN
ADDITIONAL SUBPARAGRAPH TO BE DESIGNATED AS SUBPARAGRAPH THIRTEEN
(13) WHICH SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS: 1113. WAREHOUSES AND WHOLESALE
BUSINESSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSO I,
AS FOLLOWS:
Whereas, the City Council has received written communications from
residents of the city to amend the Zoning Ordinance by allowing
land in District "F" areas within the city to be used for warehouse
and wholesale businesses, and
Whereas, the Council has referred these communications to the
Planning & Zoning Commission for their study, consideration and
recommendation, and
Whereas the Planning and Zoning Commission has held a public hearin
on the propriety of amending Section 1102 of Article XI of Zoning
Ordinance No. 5880 by adding thereto a new subparagraph known as
subparagraph 13. which would permit land within an "F" Highway
Commercial District to be used for Warehouses and Wholesale Businesses
and
ereas, the Commission, after study, consideration and said public
hearing has recommended to the City Council that such proposed
amendment to the Zoning Ordinance be made, and
Whereas, all interested parties have been notified that the City
Council would hold a public hearing on the proposed amendment of
Ordinance Number 5880, as recommended by the Planning and Zoning
Commission, by a written notice published in a newspaper of general
circulation within the City more than fifteen days prior to the
date of said heating, with all interested parties being invited to
attend said hearing to express their views on the proposed amendmen ,
