SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The audit engagement letter states the terms under which the audit will be conducted by Eidebailly, management’s responsibilities, states the fees and timing of the audit, the significant
findings Eidebailly will communicate to the Members of the City Council, as well as dispute resolution, limitation of damages, time limitation, indemnity, and assignments prohibited.
The breakdown of the cost impact is as follows:
Estimated fee of $53,000 for the Annual Audit,
$6,000 Single Audit for one major program (FAA AIP), and
$8,000 additional if CARES Act Single Audit is required
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the engagement letter from Eidebailly for the FY20 Audit and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
