Thereby declares and ordains that it deems it necessary for
sanitary purposes and for the health and comfort of its inhabitants
of the City to establish a Sewer District to be known as Sewer
District No. 91 "C", with location and boundaries as follows:
Beginning on the northerly line of Rose Valley Subdivision and the
southerly line of Carol Street, said point of beginning being 200
feet westerly of the northeasterly corner of lot 29 of said
subdivision; thence southerly parallel to the easterly line of said
subdivision 100 feet; thence easterly parallel to the northerly lin
of said subdivision, 50 feet; thence southerly parallel to the
easterly line of Rose Valley Subdivision and the easterly line of
Hough Park Subdivision to the southeasterly corner of lot 23 of
the Hough Park Subdivision; thence westerly along the southerly
line of the Hough Park Subdivision to the westerly line thereof
at the southwesterly corner of lot 13 of said subdivision and on th
westerly line of Outlot 98 ; thence northerly along the westerly tin
of Outlot 98 and the westerly lines of Hough Park Subdivision and
Rose Valley Subdivision to a point 48 feet 4 inches northerly of
the southwesterly corner of lot 17 of the Rose Valley Subdivision;
thence easterly parallel with Carol Street, 800 feet; thence
northerly parallel with the westerly line of Rose-, Valley Subdivision,
150 feet to the northerly line thereof on the southerly line of
Carol Street; thence easterly along the southerly line of Carol
Street and the northerly line of the Rose Valley Subdivision to a
point 47 .26 feet easterly of the northwesterly corner of 19t 29 of
the Rose Valley Subdivision and the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. . All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE"APPROV.ING ..THE:'EXERCISE BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, OF THE POWERS, FUNCTIONS AND DUTIE
OF THE LAND CLEARANCE FOR REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, Sections 99 .300 to 99 .66Q of the Revised Statutes of
Missouri for 1949 are known and cited as the Land Clearance For
Redevelopment Authority Law of the State of Missouri; and
WHEREAS, there are one or more blighted or insanitary areas (as
defined in Section 99 .320 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri for
1949) existing in this community, and the redevelopment of such are
or areas is necessary in the interest of the public health, safety,
morals or welfare of the residents of this community; and
WHEREAS, the residents of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, at an
election duly called and held in said City on April 1, 1958, by
a majority vote accepted the provisions of the Land Clearance
For Redevelopment Authority Law;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C11,rY OF .JEFFERSON, MISSOU I,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. That the Council hereby finds that one or more blighted
lor insaitary areas, as defined in Section 99 .320, sub-sections (10)
and (11) , exist in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and that the
11redevelopment of such area or areas is necessary in the interest
of the health, safety, morals or welfare of the residents of said
