Section 2. That the powers, functions and duties of the Land
Clearance For REdevelopment Authority under Sections 99 .300 to
99 .660 inclusive, of the Revised Statutes of Missouri for 1949,
shall be exercised by the Housing Authority of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, a public body now existing, and said Housing
Authority of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby given and
granted all such powers, functions and duties of the Land Clearance
For Redevelopment Authority, under Sections 99 .300 to 99 .660 of the
Revised Statutes of Missouri for 1949 .
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance shall be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1102 OF ARTICLE XI OF ORDINANCE NUMBE
5880 OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY ADDING THERETO AN
ADDITIONAL SUB-PARAGRAPH, TO BE DESIGNATED SUB-PARAGRAPH 14 WHICH
SHALL PROVIDE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 14. PUBLIC AMUSEMENTS AND PAID
RECREATION."
BE IT known that whereas the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, was petitioned in writing to amend Section 1102 of
Article XI of Zoning Ordinance 5880 by adding thereto an additional
subparagraph to permit the use of land in the "F Highway Commercial
District for Public Amusement and Paid Recreation purposes, and
Whereas, said petition was referred to the Planning and Zoning
Commission for its study, consideration and recommendation, and
Whereas the Planning-Zoning Commission, after consideration
and study of the matter, did report back to the Council its
recommendation that the petitioned amendment to the Zoning Ordinanc
be allowed and made, and
Whereas notice was published in the News-Tribune of the
intention of the City Council to hold a public hearing on the issue
of whether the amendment to the Zoning Ordinance -as recommended by
the Planning and Zoning Commission should be made, which newspaper
publication advised the time and date and place of said hearing and
invited all members of the public who had any interest on the
proposed amendment to appear and be heard, and
Whereas, the City Council has conducted such advertised hearing
and after hearing all parties interested in same, has called for thl
vote on the ordinance proposing said amendment, now therefore:

MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
