Section 1102 of Article XI of Ordinance Number 5580, the Zoning Ordinance, of the City of Jefferson, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto an additional pubparagraph to be known as sub-paragraptY 1.4 which snail provide as follows : Section 14. Ellis /s/ President of the Council Mayor ORDINANCE NO. 6617 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 1285 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, 1956, AND ENACTING A NEW RDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY, ISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 1285 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956, pertaining to the firing and discharge of firearms and other weapons, be and the same is hereby repealed. Section 2. Discharge of firearms and other weapons . Any erson within this city who shall fire or discharge any rifle, shotgun, pistol, revolver, automatic or "B-B" gun, or who shall propel or sling any rocks, arrows or other hard substances by his ands, by means of a sling, or bow, shall be deemed guilty of a isdemeanor. Section 3. Exceptions: archers . The use of bow and arrows y members of organized archery clubs within this city may be permitted within any city park as may be designated by the city Park Board, provided that, before any archery club, or the members thereof, shall practice archery in any city park so designated by the Park Board, they shall secure the permission from the Park Board and agree to comply with all rules, regulations and safety requirements as may be promulgated by the Park Board. Anyone violating any of the terms of this section shall be deemed guilty f a misdemeanor. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
