HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD06621 ORDINANCE NO. 6621 �~ AN ORDINANCE CREATING A TAXICAB STAND FOR THE YELLOW CAB COMPANY IN A DESIGNATED AREA AND CREATING A TAXICAB STAND FOR THE CITY CAB COMPANY IN A DESIGNATED AREA, PROHIBITING THE OPERATORS OF VEHICLES OTHER THAN TAXICABS OF THE TWO NAMED C01101PANIES FROM PARKING WITHIN SAID TAXICAB STAND AREA, AND PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF YELLOW CABS OR CITY CABS IN ANY PARKING METER ZONE SPACE OR IN ANY AREA WHERE PARKING IS RESTRICTED FOR SPECIFIC PARKING PURPOSES AS ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCES OF THIS CITY, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS : Section I. The following taxicab stand is hereby created for the Yellow Cab Company: The Third parking space on the West side of Monroe Street situated South of Commercial Avenue. Said parking space shall be reserved for the parking of taxicabs of the Yellow Cab Company and the operators of all other motor vehicles shall be and are hereby prohibited from permitting the same to be parked within said space. Section 2. The following taxicab stand is hereby created for the City Cab Company: The first parking space on the West side of Madison Street situated South of Commercial Avenue. Said parking space shall be reserved for the parking of taxicabs of the 'City Cab Company and the operators of all other motor vehicles shall be and are hereby prohibited from permitting the same to be parked within said space. Section 3. No Yellow Cab and no City Cab shall be parked by the operator thereof within the following designated and described area in this city: In any space serviced by a parking meter pr inany area of reserved or restricted motor vehicle parking, as established by any other ordinance of this city. Section 4. Anyone violating any of the terms of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. Section 5. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and approval. Ellis /s,' President of the Council Mayor ORDINANCE NO. 6622 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI, TO EXECUTE FOR AND ON THE BEHALF OF THE CITY A QUIT CLAIM DEED IN FAVOR OF WILLIAM C. ROSE AND VIRGINIA C. ROSE, RALPH L. ROSE AND JEAN A ROSE BY VIRTUE OF WHICH THE CITY RELEASES TO THE ABOVE NAMED GRANTEES THE EASEMENT WHICH THE CITY HAS IN CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND IN THE ROSE VALLEY SUBDIVISION IN CONSIDERATION OF THE EXECUTION BY THE ABOVE NAMED GRANTEES OF AN EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES OVER SEVERAL SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED PARCELS OF LAND IN THE SAME SUBDIVISION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOM I, AS FOLLOWS : Section I. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for and on behalf of the City, are hereby authorized and directed to execute a quit-claim deed in favor of William C. Rose • and Virginia C. Rose, Ralph L. Rose and Jean Rose, as the subdivide s and owners of the lots in Rose Valley Subdivision, wherein the City releases the sanitary sewer casement shown on the plat of record at plat Book 5 at Page 89 over the following described property: "A strip of land six feet in width, the center line of the same being described as follows : A part of Lot 26 of Rose Valley Subdivision, per plat of record in Book 5 at Page 89 , Cole County Recorder' s Office, described as follows : Beginning at a point 20.5 feet south of the south line of Carol Street and 12.5 feet east of the west line of Lot 26 of said subdivision thence in a south- easterly direction on a direct line to a point on theeast line of Lot 26, said point being 53.0 feet south of the northeast corner of said lot. Section 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk shall not execute and deliver said above mentioned quitclaim deed until the above named grantees and subdividers of said Subdivision jointly execute in favor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, a quitclaim deed conveyin to the City sanitary sewer easements over the following described property which is a part of the same Subdivision: "A strip of land six feet in width, the center line of same being described as follows : A part of lots 22, 47 and 48 of Rose Valley Subdivision, per plat of record in Plat Book 5 at Page 89, Cole County Recorder s Office, all of which is described as : Beginning at a point on the north line of Lot 22, said point being 13.5 feet west of the northeast corner thereof; thence South 51 degrees and 10 minutes West., 95.0 feet, thence North 86 degrees and 20 minutes West, 214.0 feet. (Magnetic bearings) ." "A strip of land six feet in width, the center line of the same being described as follows : A part of Lots 22, 47 and 48 of Rose Valley Subdivision, per plat of record in Plat Book 5 at Page 89 , Cole County Recorder s Office, all of which is described as : Beginning on the north line of Lot 22 at a point 13.5 feet west of the northeast corner thereof; thence South 28 degrees and 10 minutes West, 100.0 feet; thence South 86 degrees and 25 minutes West, 131.5 feet; thence North 66 degrees and 42 minutes West 117 .0 feet. (Magnetic bearings) . "A strip of land six feet in width, the center line of the same being described as follows: A part of lot 5 of Rose Valley Subdivision as per plat of record in Plat Book 5 at Page 89 , Cole County Recorder s Office, all of which is described as : Beginning at a point on the north line of Lot 5, said point being 3.0 feet west of the northeast corner thereof; thence on a direct line to a point on the south line of said lot, said point being 19 .2 feet west of the southeast corner of said Lot number 5." "A strip of land six feet in width, the center line of the same being described as follows: A part of Lots 12 and 13 of Rose Valley Subdivision, as per plat of record in Plat Book 5 at Page 89 , Cole County Recorder s Office, and described as: Beginning at a point on the north line of Lot 13, said point being 10 feet west of the northeast corner thereof; thence on a direct line 113.0 feet to a point on the south line of Lot 12, said point being 20 .0 feet east of the southwest corner of said Lot 12."
