It is hereby declared that the City Council of the City f Jefferson, Missouri, deems it necessary and expedient to vacate Jnd discontinue that part of the westerly One (1) foot of Jackson treet, extending from the northerly line of Dunklin Street, ! ortherly 457.5 feet. All the owners of the property and adjacent 0 t abutting on and adjacent to said Jackson Street having petitioned he said City Council to vacate and discontinue said portion of ackson Street as a part of the public thoroughfare of said City, anii aid portion of Jackson Street is forever vacated and discontinued a � public thoroughfare and the power and right of reversion of said ortion of Jackson Street to the adjacent and abutting owner, or w ners, as is provided by the Statutes of the State of Missouri, s hereby and fully confirmed and approved, and the Mayor of this ity is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver all roper and sufficient writing, or writings, or instruments for, on ehalf of, or in the name of the City to fully and completely estab- ish and guarantee to the adjacent and abutting property owners thei Legal rights in connection with the above vacation.
