Missouri, are hereby authorized and directed to execute a warrant
in the amount of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars per month to be
paid as an expense account to the Expediter of the Bond Issue
Advisory Comdittee defray all expenses incurred by him in the
performance of his duties.
Section 3. The salary and expense account authorized in the two i
preceding sections shall be paid until such time as the Expediter o
the Bond Issue Advisory Committee is discharged by the Committee.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval, and the allowance of said salary an
expense account shall be made retroactive to July 1st, 1958.

STREET IMPROVEMENT ORDINANCE NO. 6643
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE ROADWAY OF
HILDA STREET IN THE BLOCK FROM THE CENTER OF THE INTERSECTION OF
HILDA STREET AND WILLIAM STREET TO THE CENTER OF THE INTERSECTION
OF HILDA STREET AND A POINT 415 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF
WILLIAM STREET IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY PAVING WITH
PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Whereas, it was heretofore found and declared by the
City Council, by its resolution, passed and approved on August 7th
1958 necessary to pave with portland cement concrete the roadway of
Hilda Street in the block from the center of the intersection of
Hilda Street and William Street to the center of the intersection of
Hilda Street and a point 415 feet south of the center line of
William Street and it appearing to the City Council that said
resolution has been- duly published according to the law for more
than seven (7) consecutive insertions, in the Post-Tribune, a daily
newspaper, printed and published in the -City of Jefferson, .Missouri,
and a majority of the resident owners of property along said
section of Hilda Street liable for the costs of said improvement,
and who own a majority of the front feet on said Hilda Street
intended to be improved, have not filed with the City Clerk a
protest against said contemplated improvement.
Section 2. That the said rodd of Hilda Street, from the center line
of William Street to the intersection of Hilda Street, and a point
415 feet south of the center line of William Street in accordance
with the plans and specifications submitted by the City Engineer
and filed in the office of the City Clerk, and that the total cost
of the work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a special
assessment against the real estate abutting and fronting on said
contemplated improvement, and special tax bills shall be issued
therefor, as provided in the City Charter, and in Sections 826,
827, 827, and 828 of Chapter 10, of the Revised Ordinances of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri ,, 1956, and of the Revised Statutes of
the State of Missouri, 19Y9, and amendments thereto.
Section 3. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to advertise for
bids for this improvement.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from a 'I
after its passage and approval.
