AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ESTABLISHING THE
GRADE OF MINNESOTA AVENUE, FROM THE EAST CURB LINE OF HOLLY DRIVE,
WEST 340 FEET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUR
S FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the grade line of the roadway of Minnesota Avenue,
from the east curb line of Holly Street, west 340 feet be and hereby
is established as follows: Beginning at the center line of
nnesota Avenue and east curb line of Holly Drive where the elevati n
of the grade is, 184.00; thence 30 feet, where the elevation of the
grade shall be, 185.00; thence 78 feet on a uniform grade where the
elevation of the grade shall be, 194. 14; thence 50 feet on a
ertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be 197.82;
thence 50 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade
shall be, 197.13; thence 102 feet on a uniform grade where the
elevation of the grade shall be, 191.30; thence 30 feet where the
elevation of the grade shall be 190.30.
SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and .after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6646
AN ORDINANCE, of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, vacating and
discontinuing as a part of the public thoraughfare part of Miller
Street, fronting on the northerly side of lots 5, 6, 7 and 8 Block
2 of Wolff' s Subdivision as per plat of record in Plat Book 3 Page
22, Cole County Recorder' s Office. And authorizing and directing
the Mayor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to execute all
necessary instruments to the owners of the .adjacent lots to and for
said portion of said street so vacated, as the parties entitled
thereto, as shown by the record title to said adjacent and abutting
roperty and declaring a reverter to the respective owners of said
real estate.
WHEREAS: it has been shown to the City Council of the City of
efferson, Missouri, that the owners of lots 5,6,7 and 8 Block 2
Wolff' s Subdivision as per plat of record in Plat Book 3 Page 22,
Cole County Recorder' s Office, have used, improved and occupied
nd are now using and occupying said abutting land so that portion
of Miller Street -has ceased to be of any use or benefit as a public
thoroughfare and that it would not inconvenience the public or the
citizens of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to discontinue and
acate said street as a public thoroughfare, therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUR �,
S FOLLOWS:
SECTIONI. It is hereby declared that the City Council of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, deems it necessary and expedient to vacate
and discontinue that part of Miller Street fronting on the northerly
side of lots 5,6,7 and 8 Block 2 of Wolff' s Subdivision as per plat
of record in Plat Book 3 Page 22, Cole County Recorder' s Office, and
more particularly described as: Beginning on the southerly line of
Miller Street, at the northeasterly corner of lot 5 Block 2 of
Wolff' s Subdivision; thence in a westerly direction perpendicular
to the easterly line of said lot 5, for a distance of 127 feet to
the westerly line of Hart Street as shown on the plat of Wolff' s
Subdivision; thence southerly along the westerly line of said Hart
IlStreet, 10 feet to the northerly line of Miller Street; thence
1, resterly along the northerly line of Miller Street, 111.0 feet to a
point that is 220.0 feet west of, if measured at right angles thereto,
the easterly line of lot 5 Bloc 2 Wolff' s Subdivision; thence
southerly on a direct line, 42.0 feet to the northwesterly corner
of lot 8 Block 2 Wolff' s Subdivision; thence easterly along and wit
the southerly line of Miller Street, 245.0 feet to the point of
beginning. all the owners of the property and adjacent lots
abutting on and adjacent to said Miller Street having petitioned
the said City Council to vacate and discontinue said portion of
Miller Street as a part of the public thoroughfare of said City,
and said street is forever vacated and discontinued as a public
thoroughfare and the power and right of reversion of said street-
to the adjacent and abutting owners as is provided by the Statues
of the State of Missouri, is hereby fully confirmed and approved,
and the Mayor of this City is hereby authorized and directed to
execute and deliver all proper and sufficient writing, or writings,
or instruments for, on behalf of, or in the name of the City to
fully and completely establish and guarantee to the adjacent and
abutting property owners their legal rights in connection with
the above vacation.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.
