ORDINANCE NO. 6658
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 6000 OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELATING TO THE NUMBER OF POLICEMEN
AUTHORIZED IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE
PERTAINING TO THE NUMBER. OF POLICEMEN AND POLICEWOMEN AUTHORIZED
IN SAID DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUK,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance Number 6000 of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri. (being Section 413 of the Revised Ordinances
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956) relating to the number
of policemen'-authorized in the city police department be, and the
same is hereby now, repealed.
Section 2. Section 413. Policemen and Plicewomen, number.
The City of Jefferson shall have ninetten policemen and one policew
All provisions of the ordinances of the City of Jefferson relating
to policemen shall relate to policewomen.
Section 3. This ordinance shll be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6659
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELATING TO THE
SALARY OF THE POLICEWOMAN IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOLqI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Policewoman in the Police Department of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, shall receive the same salary as compensation
for her duties and services as the policemen in said department
who have completed th4dir ninety (90) day probationery period.
Uniform allowances in effect for policemen shall be paid to the
policewoman.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval, provided however, that the City
Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to make payment of said
salary and uniform;:allowances to the Policewoman on October 31, 195
for the full month of October.
