Ellis s President of the Council Mayor ORDINANCE NO. 6673 An ordinance levying and assessing a special tax bill against the lots or tracks of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of Boonville Road, from the north line of Sunset Place Addition north to a point 1170 feet south of the north line of Livingston Street in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of the said roadway by grading, curbing and guttering and paving with portland cement concrete. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this ordinan e, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of Boonville Road, from the north line of Sunset Place Addition north to a point 1170 feet south of the north line of Livingston Street in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of the roadway Boonville Road aforesaid, including such grading as may be necessary for the reception of a cement side walk, the sum of $16,829.86 as the total costs of the improvement of said street and the number of front feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said Boonville Road aforesaid, between the aforesai streets amount to 2290.40, running feet; the cost price per running foot is $7 .348. Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said road way of Boonville Road, from the north line of Sunset Place Addition north to a point 1170 feet south of the north line of Livingston Street there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $7.348 as a special. tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway of Boonville Road between the aforesaid streets, and contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said improved roadway of said Boonville Road. Section 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on each side of Boonville Road, - from the north line of Sunset Place Addition north to a point 1170 feet south of the north line of Livingston Street and the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said block or street between the aforesaid streets and the cost price per front foot for said improvement and the amount hereb levied and assessed as a special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said Boonville Roa street or the roadway from the center of the intersection of Boonville Road and the north line of Sunset Place Addition north to a point 1170 feet south of the north line of Livingston Street. Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make but special tax bills in favor of the contractor Hunter Brothers Construction Company for the within mentioned work in accordance with the Charter of said City in regard to said work. The south Line lying 75.3 feet north of the Township line. Assessment 50.0 lin.ft. @ $7.348 Cost $367.40 Paul E. & Priscilla E. Beck, owners of a part of the Southeast quarter of Section 35 Township 45 Range 12, fronting 257 feet on the .Boonv lle Road and running back westerly 200 feet. The south line lying 125. feet north of the Township line. Assessment 256.0 lin.ft. @ $7.348 Cost $1881.09 Cafi A. & Marie Henry, owners of a part of the Southeast quarter of Section 35 Township 45 Range 12, fronting 62 feet on the Boonville Road and running back westerly 200 feet. The north line co-inciding with the south line of Redwood Drive. Assessment 62.0 lin.ft. @ $7.348 Cost $455.58 Roy L. & Joan Thompson, owners of a part of the Southeast quarter of Section 35 Township 45 Range 12, fronting 69 .5 feet on the Boonville Road and running back westerly 130 feet. The south line co-inciding with the north line of Redwood Drive. Assessment 69.5 lin.ft. @ $7.348 Cost $510.69 Sam H. & Emma Hager, owners of a part of the Southeast quarter of Section 35 Township 45 Range 12, fronting 70.0 feet on the Boonville Road and running back westerly 130 feet.
