City Treasurer ORDINANCE NO. 6695 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING, AMENDING, MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880 WITH REFERENCE TO CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND BY REZONING SAID LAND FROM A DISTRICT "A-2" SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO A DISTRICT "F" HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. Whereas, the City Council of Jefferson City has received a petition requesting the rezoning of certain specifically located from a District "A-2" to a District "F", and Whereas, the City Council did refer this petition to the Planning & Zoning Commission for its study, consideration and recommendation, and Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission dial receive said petition, did conduct a public hearing thereon after giving notice thereof, has studied and considered said petition, and Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission has made its written recommendation to the City Council that the hereinafter described land be rezoned from a District "A-2" Single Family Dwelling District to a District "F" Highway Commercial District, and Whereas, all interested parties have been notified by an advertisement inserted in a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson that the City Council would hold a public hearing on the issue of approving or rejecting the recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Commission, which notice did appear in said newspaper more than fifteen (15) days prior to the -date of said hearing, and by which notice, all interested parties were invited to appear ppear and be heard on the issue, •and i
