SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Idaho Code §67-5732A allows the conveyance of surplus personal property to other state and local agencies. Annually City staff identifies several items as surplus property. The Police
Chief has determined that eight (8) Taser X26 Tasers and accessories are no longer of use to the City of McCall. The Police Chief would like to sell the X26 Tasers to Accredited Security
and receive a credit up to $1,400.00. The Police Chief has determined that it is in the best interest of the Police Department to sell the X26 to the nationally known distributor that
possesses the equipment to repurpose rather than destroy them.
Attached is the sale/trade agreement and Resolution 21-22.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 21-22 declaring the 8 X26 Tasers and accessories as surplus, authorizing the Police Chief to sell the 8 X26 Tasers and accessories to Accredited Security and sign the
sales agreement, and authorize the mayor to sign the Resolution.
