There is hereby enacted a new subparagraph (n) of Section 3 of Ordinance Number 6610 of the City of Jefferson, Missour , pertaining :specially to the salary and compensation of the Humane Officer. Said subparagraph (n) of Section 3 of ordinance- Number 6610 shall read as follows: "Section 3. Compensation of appointive officials and em2loyees: (n) The Humane Officer shall receive the sum of Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars per month and the use of a city owned motor vehicle in the performance of his duties." Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and approval; ; the salaries mentioned in this ordinance shall be retroactive to January 1, 1959, and payment in the amount stated is authorized from that time. Ellis /s/ President of the Council Mayor ORDINANCE NO. 6698 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 728 REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, 1956, BEING ORDINANCE NUMBER 4716, RELATING TO RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL LICENSEES SELLING INTOXICATING LIQUOR, AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI., AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 728 of the RLvised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956, being Ordinance Number 4716 of the City of Jefferson, relating to the residence requirements for all licensees selling intoxicating liquor, be and the same is hereby repealed. Section 2. There is hereby enacted the following ordinance to be known as Section 728 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956, relating to the residence requirements of all licensees selling intoxicating liquor, and said ordinance shall reas as follows: "Section 728. Licensee Residence Requirements.--No license authorizing the sale of intoxicating liquor or retailed for consumption on the premises where sold shall be issued unlessl the person, copartnership or corporation, applying for said license shall have been a person of good moral character and a qualified legal voter and taxpaying citizen of the county, town, city or village in which he resides for a period of two months immediately preceding the date of the application."
